Mr.West arrived there this morning to take charge of the engine.About noon the work in the field in which the thresher was working was finished and Mr.West was preparing for the move. While backing the engine prepatory to hitching it to the seperator,he lost control of the machine and crashed into the seperator.He was pinned between the seperator and the fire box of the engine.When removed he was frightfully mangled and died shortly after the accident.Medical aid had been summoned,but nothing could be done to alleviate his suffering.
