Wakley iwakley@msn.com April 16, 2006, 10:25 pm The Dalles Chronicle, November 8, 2005 Ernest “Edy” Darwin Yeaman II, 59, a resident of Dallesport, died at a local hospital in The Dalles on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005. He was born in Kemmerer, Wyo., on Jan. 28, 1946, the youngest of seven children to Ernest D. and Ruth (Tippetts) Yeaman. He was raised in Kemmerer, where he graduated from High School. He married Marnay V. Wakkila on Dec. 1, 1965 in Paris, Idaho. He worked as an operating engineer in the construction business for twenty years. He was the manager of Dallesport Mobile Home Park. He enjoyed being with his family, fishing, hunting, woodworking, watching football and eating dessert. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and Operating Engineers Union. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Marnay Yeaman, Dallesport; his son, Marc Lowham, Utah; his daughters, Tammy Jackson, Dallesport, and Starla and her husband Calvin Jones, Goldendale; eight grandchildren, Travis, Jenell, Clayton, Wes, K.C., Matt, Colton and Austin; eight great-grandchildren, Chloe, Alexa, Hanz, Chase, Ceder, Conner, Avery and Alannah; his sisters, Charlotte Moiser, Spokane; and Helen Snedden, Kemmerer; his brother Burnell Yeaman, Kemmerer; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Farrell, Michael, Garth, Ray Dell and his son Wes Lowham. At his request there will be no services. Private cremation was held at Win-Quatt Crematory in The Dalles with Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home in care of arrangement.
