Dorothy Agnes Wyman Surnames: Wyman, James, Parker Dorothy "Dort" Agnes Wyman, 85, a resident of The Dalles, died at a local hospital on Tuesday, February 18, 2003. She was born July 18, 1917, in Willamina, Oregon, the youngest of two children to Herbert and Grace (James) Parker. Dorothy was raised and graduated high school in McMinnville (Oregon). Dorothy moved to Bend (Oregon) and then to Portland in 1944, where she worked for Standard Oil and Bank of America as a bookkeeper for 28 years. In 1947, Dorothy married Hugh W. Wyman in Portland. They moved to Dufur (Oregon) in 1974 and spent winters in Arizona until 1994, when they settled in The Dalles area. Dorothy enjoyed her travel trailer, motor homes, and collecting nick-naks. She is survived by her husband Hugh W. Wyman. Private entombment services were held Thursday, February 20, at the Odd Fellows Mausoleum, with Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
