Wakley iwakley@msn.com December 27, 2006, 12:37 am The Dalles Weekly Reminder, February 16, 1984 Lloyd Truman Woodside, 80, a longtime resident of the Wapinita-Juniper Flat area, died Feb. 9 at a local nursing home. He was born Dec. 1, 1903 in Wapinitia. Mr. Woodside was a rancher until his retirement. He was a member of the Wasco County and Oregon Cattlemen's Association, a life member of The Dalles Elks Lodge, a member of the Old Wasco County Pioneer Association, and was active in the Wasco County Fair for many years. Survivors include his wife, Dixie, The Dalles; a son, Scott Woodside, Maupin; two daughters, Skip Dunlap, The Dalles, and Mickey Lou Snodgrass, Maupin; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Monday at Maupin Legion Hall with the Rev. Daniel Elam, and Bill Hulse officiating. Burial followed at Kelly Cemetery in Maupin. Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
