The Dalles Weekly Reminder, September 11, 1987
Clifford G. Woods, 86, died Sept. 5 in The Dalles.  He was a resident of the 
area since 1985, having been born here then moving to the Portland area where 
he lived most of his life.  

Mr. Woods was born May 4, 1901 in Moro.  He lived in Portland and Milwaukie, 
Ore., retiring from the construction business in 1963.  His wife, Zipporah Ora 
Underhill Woods, preceded him in death in June of this year.  He moved to The 
Dalles in 1985.  He was a member of many organizations, including The Dalles 
Eagles, AARP, Mid-Columbia Senior Citizens, International Brotherhood of 
Electrical Workers.

He is survived by a sister, Eva Sigman of Dufur; nephews, Bruce Sigman of 
Portland and Jerry Sigman of Dufur; three nieces, Sherry Kaseberg of Wasco, 
Christine Jone of Minnesota and Julie Smith of Eugene; grand-nephew Mike 
Sigman of McMinnville and grand-niece Sandy Loop of The Dalles; great-grand 
niece, Jena Loop of The Dalles.

Graveside services were conducted at the IOOF Parklawn Memorial Gardens.  
Smith Callaway Chapel was in charge of arrangements.  Pastor Asa Jenson 
officiated.
