Surnames: Williams, Washburn, Wagner, Moore, Stone, Coultas, Washburn, Winlock, Bourland Beatrice "Bea" H. Williams, 92, a resident of The Dalles, died at a local hospital on Wednesday, May 7, 2003. She was born November 3, 1910, in Deer Park, Washington, the oldest of three children to Henry L. and Elizabeth R. (Washburn) Wagner. From Deer Park, they moved to Toledo, Washington. She attended grade school and high school in Toledo, graduating from Toledo High School in 1929. She married John Ralph Williams in 1933 in Castle Rock, Washington and they settled in The Dalles in 1939. She worked at Lance Apparel, Herman's Men Store and retired from N.W. Natural Gas Company where she worked for 18 years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran in The Dalles, Columbia Chapter No. 23 Order of Eastern Star and the Ladies Auxiliary to United Transportation. She volunteered many hours at St. Peter's Landmark and the Senior Center in The Dalles. She is survived by one son, Jack W. Williams and friend Pat Schultz, Garibaldi (Oregon); one granddaughter, Kyra Williams, Gresham (Oregon); two grandson, Kirk Williams, Lewiston, Idaho; James Moore, Lincoln City; one great-granddaughter, Miranda Moore, Gresham; one great-grandson, Derek Moore, Lincoln City (Oregon); two sisters, Lila Stone, Carlsbad, California; Thelma Coultas, Lock Haven, Pennsylvania; cousins, Everett (Toad), Washburn, Toledo; Olive Saari, Winlock, Washington; Howard Bourland, Lebanon (Oregon) and several in-laws. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1978. Graveside services will be held at Firlawn Cemetery in Toledo at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12 with Smith Callaway Chapel in care of arrangements.
