The Dalles Weekly Reminder, May 1, 1987
LaVern B. Wilkinson, 84, died April 24 at a local nursing home.  She was a 
resident of The Dalles since 1977 and a former resident of Portland.

Mrs. Wilkinson was born Dec. 30, 1902 in St. Edwards, Neb.

Her husband, Tracy, preceded her in death in 1960.

She is survived by one son, Ralph Russell Wilkinson of Kansas City, Mo.; 
numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home, 
officiated by the Rev. Thornton Gapen, followed by burial at Multnomah Park 
Cemetery in Portland.
