     Bryan “Scott” Wiidanen, 38, a former resident of Dufur, died on June 13, 
2004.
     He was born on April 9, 1966 in Hood River to Neil and Patty Wiidanen. He 
grew up and graduated from high school in Dufur.
     He then went on to attend two years of college at Portland State 
University. He met Pamela Timmen and they were married in 1990.
     After college he drove truck for a number of companies in the Portland 
metropolitan area. He later went to work for P.J. Food Services where he was 
employed until his death as a manager.
     He was a member of the New Hope Community Church in Portland. He was 
active as a coach, coaching both in Little League and basketball.
     He enjoyed boating and refinishing antique cars, gardening and working in 
his yard and most of all spending time with his family and friends.
     Survivors include his wife, Pamela; daughters, Jessica Jo Morris and 
Kristen Lynette Wiidanen; son, Henry “Hank” Wiidanen, all of Portland; his 
parents, Neil and Patty Wiidanen, Centerville; brothers, Ladd and his wife, 
Melinda and children Evan, Maxwell and Abigael, all of Rocklin, Calif.; and 
Matt and his wife, Chrystal and their child, Cole, all from Marysville, Mo.; 
grandparents, Lynn and Wilma Bolton, Dufur; and great aunt, Ruth Wiidanen-
Anderson, Goldendale.
     A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 18, at the First 
Christian Church in Dufur.
     Memorials may be made to the Music Department- Dufur Schools, 802 NE 
Fifth St., Dufur, OR 97021. Arrangements were by Mt. Scott Funeral Home in 
Portland.
