The Dalles Weekly Reminder,  June 5, 1987
     Dorothy B. West, 77, died at a local hospital May 25.  She was a resident 
of The Dalles for 12 years.
     Mrs. West was born Feb. 28, 1910 in Belleville, Ill.
     She is survived by a son, Oliver McMillan of Portland; a daughter, Mari 
Anna Emery of Phoenix; four sisters, Marie Jensen, Ruth Gavin and Ione Gulver 
all of Portland, and Francis Freed of Bellevue, Wash.; seven grandchildren and 
four great-grandchildren.
     A memorial service is planned for a later date in Portland.  Smith 
Callaway was in charge of arrangements.
