The Dalles Weekly Reminder, June 2, 1983
     Minnie Louise Weigelt, 82, a lifetime resident of The Dalles, died May 30 
at her home.
     She was born Nov. 1, 1901, in The Dalles.
     She was a bookkeeper for many years for Docherty Furniture.
     Miss Weigelt was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the Azalea Rebekah 
Lodge.
     Survivors include two brothers, Paul and Gus Weigelt and two sisters, 
Lena Weigelt and Edna Weigelt, all of The Dalles, and a niece, Nancy 
Hitzemaan, Redmond, Wash.
     Graveside funeral services were today (Thursday) at The Dalles IOOF 
Cemetery with the Rev. Ric Simpson officiating.  Spencer, Libby & Powell 
Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
     Memorials are suggested to Zion Luthran Church Memorial Fund.
