The Dalles Weekly Reminder, June 7, 1984
     Funeral services for Lester Wellington Webb, 74, The Dalles, were held 
Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home.

     Mr. Webb was born Aug. 15, 1909 and had lived in The Dalles since 1918.  
He worked in the maintenance department at the J. H. Baxter Company until his 
retirement.  He also served in the Army during World War II.
 
     Survivors include a son, Carl Walter Webb, Stockton, Calif.; a daughter, 
Sharyl Doty, The Dalles; a stepson, James Gentry, Bremerton, Wash.; a 
granddaughter, Carlee Webb, Stockton; two sisters, Ressie Patton and Mary 
Patton, The Dalles; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

     Services were conducted by Melvin Patton and burial followed in the Odd 
Fellows Cemetery.  Memorials have been suggested to the Little Chapel Church.
