The Dalles Weekly Reminder, January 30, 1987
Herschel Neil Wayman, 62, died at his home in The Dalles Jan. 22.  He had 
lived here five years.

Mr. Wayman was born Feb. 24, 1924, in Shawnee, Okla.  He was a member of the 
AARP, The Dalles Church of Christ, and the Fort Dalles Riders.  He was 
formerly a resident of Portland for 12 years moving there from Oklahoma.  He 
was retired from Mac Tool Co.

He is survived by his son, Walter Wayman of Anaheim, Calif.; daughter, Jackie 
Wayman of Texas; aunt, Mrs. Van Carlton of Anover, Kans.; nephew, Ray Wayman 
of Wichita, Kans.

No funeral services were held at his request.  Smith Callaway Chapel was in 
charge of arrangements.
