The Dalles Weekly Reminder, March 11, 1988
Grover Thomas Walker, 64, died at the local hospital March 4. He was a 
resident of Dufur.

Mr. Walker was born July 30, 1923 in Houston.  He lived in The Dalles area for 
the past 20 years.  He was a heavy-equipment operator and a member of the 
Operating Engineer Local 701.

He is survived by two brothers, Eli and Billy Walker.

He was buried in the Parklawn Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to the Dufur 
Ambulance Fund.  Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home was in charge of 
arrangements.
