"Tiny" Walsh, 83, a resident of Arlington (Oregon), died at the local Hospital on Sunday, July 6, 2003. He was born April 20, 1920, in Longmont, Colorado, the 3rd of 5 children to Jack LeRoy and Virginia (Miles) Walsh and lived in Colorado until he was 8 years old. The family moved to Boring, Oregon and he moved to Arlington in 1938. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII and then returned to Arlington to Farm. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and was the current post commander For the American Legion and Condon Elks. He enjoyed photography and taking Pictures. He is survived by 4 children: Edna and her husband, Darrell Cardell, Florissant, Colorado; Charles and Julie Walsh, Ephrata, Washington; Gordon Walsh, Arlington; Rosie and Tom White, Payette (Idaho); 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren And 2 sisters, Betty Susie, Lodi, California and Dora Ludwick, Bakersfield, California. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Private cremation was held at The Dalles Win-quatt Crematory with Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home in Care of arrangements.
