The Dalles Chronicle, October 5, 2004
     James Edward Wadley, 37, a former resident of The Dalles, died on Sept. 
28, 2004 in an ATV hunting accident in Cayuse Creek near Featherville, Idaho.
He was born in The Dalles, Oregon on Oct. 26, 1966. 
     He was employed by the U.S. Forest Service as a Forestry Technician since 
1987, currently at the Idaho City Ranger District.
     He was an avid hunter and fisherman and spent as much time as he could 
out in the mountains.
     Survivors include his wife, Misty Wadley, Wilderness Ranch, Idaho; his 
son, Cody James Wadley, The Dalles; his daughter, Hannah Elizabeth Wadley, 
Portland; his mother, Zoe Green; his father, Fred Zurlinden; his mother and 
father in law, Karen and Ted Burlington; his sister, Teresa Roy; and his 
brothers, William J. Wadley, Antonio Gonzalez and Jacob Green.
     A memorial service will be held at the Idaho City High School gymnasium 
on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004 at noon. The service will be officiated by Dr. Bob 
Bash and Mark Veristain.
     Memorial donations may be made to the James Wadley Outdoor Scholarship 
Fund at Idaho City High School.
