Wakley iwakley@msn.com April 19, 2006, 11:10 pm The Dalles Chronicle, February 2, 2006 Shirley Jean Tuttle, 77, a resident of Ocean Park, Wash., and a former resident of The Dalles, died at a local hospital Sunday, Jan. 29, 2006. She was born in Eugene, on April 11, 1928, to Frank S. and Erma Olles. At the age of three she was adopted by James and Phyllis Peterson and was raised in the Portland area. She married Lloyd Francis Tuttle in Goldendale on July 6, 1947. She was a wife of 58 years and homemaker, enjoyed crafts and golf. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Davis and Anna Irene Spencer, both of Dallesport; her son Ernie Tuttle, The Dalles; eight grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd F. Tuttle and her parents. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4, at 1 p.m. at The Dalles Threemile Road IOOF Cemetery with Asa Jenson officiating. Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
