She was born in The Dalles on Jan. 10, 1925 to Harrison and Hazel Miller Jones. She was married to John R. Trumbull on June 6, 1943 in The Dalles. The family lived in The Dalles, Hood River, Condon, La Grande, Pendleton in Oregon and Rancho Mirage in California. She was a member of the Palm Springs Baptist Church and Gideons. She enjoyed playing the piano and organ for her church and was an agent for the Condon, Kinzu and Southern Railroad. She was a Sunday School teacher and enjoyed bowling and most of all enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Survivors include sons John William Trumbull, Portland; and William Harrison Trumbull, Bend; daughters, Susan Louis (Anita) Nicoles of Rancho Mirage and Debbie Sue Pedro, Hermiston; a sister, Eleanor Desiano; 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held Friday, April 30, at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Hermiston. Disposition was by cremation. Memorials may be made to the Gideons. Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in care of arrangements.
