The Dalles Weekly Reminder, November 29, 1984
     Emma I. Tiffany, 86, died Nov. 16 in The Dalles where she resided since 
1965.

     She was born May 5, 1898 in Alliance, Neb.

     She was a homemaker and was a member of the Bible Students of Portland.

     Survivors include three sons, David Tiffany, The Dalles; Robert Tiffany, 
Hermiston; and John Tiffany, Underwood, Wash.; and three daughters, Ruth 
Manahan, White Salmon, Wash.; Thelma Rood, Anacortes, Wash.; and Marie 
Henderson, Hood River; two sisters, Dorothy Roude, Moses Lake, Wash.; and 
Martha Ketchel, Port Townsend, Wash.; four brothers, Robert Hardy, Port 
Townsend; Arthur Hardy, Seattle; Roger Hardy, Stafford, Ariz.; and John Hardy, 
Seattle, Wash.; 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

     Funeral services took place at Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon with 
elder Ray Krupa officiating.  Burial was at Green Acres Memorial Park in 
Bellingham, Wash.
