     Robert “Bob” Farnsworth Teeter, 93, a resident of The Dalles, died at a 
local care facility on Saturday, June 17, 2006.

     He was born April 10, 1913 in Portland, the oldest of three children to 
Farnsworth and Anna (Kolzer) Teeter.

     He was raised and attended school in Portland. After high school, he 
worked at Montgomery Ward as a radio tech.

     He married Edna Mirinda Stansfield on May 28, 1938 in Portland. They 
moved to Bend for a year when he received a job with Bell Phone Company.      
They then moved to The Dalles in 1941 with a job transfer. He worked for Bell 
Phone Company in The Dalles until he retired in 1975.

     He enjoyed motorhoming, yard work, bowling, fishing, and handyman work.
He is survived by his daughters, Nancy Morinville, The Dalles; Linda and her 
husband, Breck Childrey, Springfield; his long-time companion, Daisy Goodman, 
The Dalles; grandchildren, Dan, Tawni, Steve, Tracy, and Wendy; and great 
grandson, Jeffrey.

     He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna, his daughter, Jeanne Wilson, 
his brother and sister, and his parents.

     Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 24, at IOOF 
Mausoleum. Private cremation was held at Win-Quatt Crematory. Spencer, Libby 
and Powell Funeral Home are in care of arrangements.
