The Dalles Weekly Reminder, November 22, 1984
     Lloyd Raymond Studenicka, 85, died in a Newberg care center, Nov. 12.  He 
was a former resident of The Dalles and a recent resident of Portland.

     He was born Sept. 26, 1899 in The Dalles.

     Mr. Studenicka worked as a rigger for a truck company and retired in 
1959.  He was a member of the Tigard Christian Church and was a charter member 
of the Teamsters Retired Members Association.

     Survivors include his wife, Hazel M., Portland; three daughters, Evelyn 
A. Harry, Portland; Carolyn M. Jackson, Tigard; and Roselin R. Taylor, 
Troutdale; a son, Joseph R., San Jose, Calif.; two sisters, Erma Gutzler, 
Maupin, and Gladys Smith, Portland; two nephews and 14 grandchildren.

     Graveside services were at The Dalles IOOF Cemetery, Nov. 15.  Memorial 
services were Friday in Portland.

     Memorials may be made to the Christian Church Memorial Fund, 126 N. E. 
Alberta, or the Tigard Christian Church Scholarship Fund, 13805 S. W. Hall 
Blvd., Portland, OR 97233.

     Zeller Chapel of the Roses in Portland was in charge of services.
