The Dalles Weekly Reminder, May 22, 1987
Verda Ruth Stuart, a resident of The Dalles for 28 years, died in The Dalles 
May 16 at the age of 60.

Mrs. Stuart was born in Boise, Idaho, on Feb. 4, 1927.

She is survived by her husband, W. Paul Stuart of The Dalles; four daughters, 
Sheryl L. Cousineau of Corbett, Kathy D. Cumiford of Boring, Lori A. Rone of 
Vancouver and Debbie K. Finney of Arlington, Tex.; a brother, Harry Jackson of 
Starr, Idaho; a sister, Frances McCormick of Boise and five grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home 
officiated by Dr. James Hazlett.  Interment followed at Parklawn Cemetery.  
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
