The Dalles Chronicle, February 18, 1988
     Jessie A. Stofer was a resident of The Dalles since 1945.

     Born July 13, 1898 at Grass Valley, Oregon and passed away at The Dalles 
on Wednesday, Feb. 16, at age 89.

     A member of Dufur Christian Church and the Royal Neighbor Lodge.

     Survivors include a son, Raymond C. Stofer of Woodside, Calif.; a 
daughter, Phyllis Teutsch of Camas, Wash.; and four grandchildren.  Funeral 
services will be Friday, Feb. 19, at 1 p.m. at Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral 
Home with Asa Jenson officiating.

     Private interment will be at Fern Prairie Cemetery in Camas.
