     Margaret “Maggie” Minerva Stockton, 82, a resident of Wasco, died at her 
home on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2005.
     She was born on Dec. 21, 1922, in Fossil, the youngest of four children 
to Charles Grover and Lillian Alice (Davis) Adams. She lived in Fossil, OR 
until her family moved to Tennessee where they lived until they moved to 
Monument, where she attended grade school and where she graduated from High 
School in 1940.
     She married Jack Dee Stockton on Nov. 28, 1945 in Vancouver, Wash. They 
lived in Prineville, then in Culver, for 30 years until they settled in Wasco, 
where they lived for 12 years.
     She was a member of Church of Christ and her life revolved around her 
husband, children and grandchildren. She has always been interested in good 
health and wellness.
     She is survived by her husband of 60 years Jack Dee Stockton; her 
daughters, Karen and her husband Jack Kellogg, Wasco; Cheryl and her husband 
Gary Street, Terrebonne; her niece, Sharon Ann and her husband Dennis Norris, 
Redmond; her grandchildren, Anne and her husband Sam Raines, Madras; Samantha 
Bender, Crooked River Ranch; Chad Bender, Madras; and Stephen Enders Stockton, 
Wasco; many great grandchildren; her niece; her nephew, Roy A. (Barney) Cork 
and his wife Anita, Alaska.
     A Private family graveside service was held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 
21, 2005 at Wasco Sunrise Cemetery with Jerry Krewson officiating.
