The Dalles Weekly Reminder, August 4, 1983
     Henry Eugene Stevenson, 79, a resident of The Dalles for the past six 
years, died Monday at a Portland hospital.
     He was born March 2, 1904 in Elmo, Idaho.
     Prior to moving to The Dalles he was a resident of Lincoln City for 20 
years where he ran a grocery store.  Mr. Stevenson was a veteran of World War 
I.
     Survivors include three daughters, Vicky Waterbury, The Dalles; Susan 
Roland, Lincoln City, and Ruth Frost, Eureka, Calif.; two sisters, Helen 
Strong, Talent, and Rosalee Argo, Richland, Wash., and five grandchildren.
     Graveside services were yesterday (Wednesday) at Willamette National 
Cemetery in Portland.  Lincoln Willamette Funeral Directors of Portland was in 
charge of services.
