Wakley iwakley@msn.com April 17, 2006, 12:19 am The Dalles Chronicle, December 28, 2005 Albert Edwin Stevens, 68, a resident of Mosier, died on Dec. 17, 2005 of cancer. He was born April 4, 1937 in Clark, S.D. He married Geraldine Goggin in 1960. He was a retired aluminum worker and had worked in the aluminum industry for 42 years, working at both The Dalles and the Goldendale plants mostly for Northwest Aluminum. He lived on a farm in Mosier where he grew cherries, grapes and a you- pick vegetable garden. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1957. Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Leone Stevens; two sons, Todd Owen Stevens and Jay Douglas Stevens; a granddaughter, Bayly Anna Stevens; his mother, Lillian Stevens; three sisters, Marian Miller, Jo Ann Wilkins and Betty Ramsey and one grandchild. A brother, Robert Stevens, died in 2004. A party celebrating his life will be at the Mosier American Legion Hall from 1 to 3 p.m. on Dec. 31. A private family service will be held later in 2006. Omega Funeral and Cremation is in care of arrangements.
