The Dalles Weekly Reminder, January 9, 1987
Genevieve O'Leary Stanton, a resident of The Dalles for 10 years, died here 
Dec. 28 at age 92.

Mrs. O'Leary was born June 12, 1894, at Montague, Mich.  She was a graduate of 
University of Michigan, active with League of Women Voters and the American 
Assocation of University Women for 50 years, and worked as a medical adjuster 
for Washington State Department of Labor and Industries.  She was a member of 
St. Peter Catholic Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Lucie McCoy of The Dalles and Mary South of 
Denver, Colo.; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

Private graveside services were held at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery with the 
Rev. Martin Quigley officiating.  Memorials may be made to St. Peter Catholic 
Church Building Fund or charity of choice.  Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral 
Home was in charge of arrangements.
