The Dalles Chronicle, February 4, 2005
     Milford Van Sperry, 80, a former resident of The Dalles, died on Feb. 2, 
2005 in Kent, Wash.
     He lived in The Dalles from 1977 to 2001. He was an electrical technician 
for the Boeing Co.for 27 years, retiring in 1971.
     Survivors include his wife, Gladys Marie Sperry; sons Donald Sperry and 
Thomas Sperry, both The Dalles; William Sperry, of Kent, Wash.; Richard 
Sperry, Monroe, Wash.; and Douglas Sperry, Kent; daughters Ruth Buckler, 
Tacoma, and Lois St. Peter, Kent; brother William Sperry, Corvalis, Mt.; 
sister Margaret Jakeway, Sequim, Wash.; 22 grandchildren and 13 great-
grandchildren.
     A daughter, Bernita Bergstrom, preceded him in death in 1994. 
     Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12 at Calvary 
Baptist Church in The Dalles.
     Marlatt Funeral Home of Kent is in care of arrangements.
