The Dalles Weekly Reminder, April 29, 1988
Caleb Smith, 85, a resident of Wishram, Wash. since 1963, died in Toppenish, 
Wash., April 23 after being injuried in an auto-pedestrian accident there.

He was born July 23, 1902 in Stites, Idaho.

Survivors include a sister Rose Hines, Kooskia, Idaho; nieces and nephews, 
including Edward Edmo of The Dalles.

A prayer service was held at Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home April 27.  
Burial was at The Dalles Parklawn Cemetery.
