The Dalles Weekly Reminder, December 8, 1983
     William G. Smith, 52, a longtime resident of Pasadena, Calif., died 
Tuesday in Pasadena.
     He was born Aug. 11, 1931 in Portland.
     Survivors include his mother, Loleta Martin, Moro; a sister, Mrs. Keith 
(Carol) Thompson, Moro; three sons, Danny, Leslie and Billy Smith, all of 
California, and two step-sons Dennis and Darwin Smith, both of California.  
His wife, Olive, died in 1973.
     Funeral services are pending in The Dalles.  Burial will be at Rose 
Cemetery in Moro.  Smith Callaway Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
