The Dalles Weekly Reminder, February 19, 1982
     Mrs. F. Marion Slusher, 88, a lifelong resident of Dufur died Feb. 13 at 
the hospital.
     She was born Feb. 15, 1893 in Danville, Ind.
     Mrs. Slusher was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Dufur.
     Survivors include a son, Francis Slusher, The Dalles; three daughters, 
Mrs. Joan Huston, Dufur; Mrs. Dorothy Mahoney, Bend; Mrs. Mary M. Richmond, 
Woodland, Calif.; 10 grandchilren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces 
and nephews.
     Funeral services were Feb. 16 at Smith Callaway Chapel with Pastor Asa 
Jenson officiating.  Private burial followed at the Henderson Family Cemetery 
in Dufur.
     Pallbearers were Tom, Don, Jim and Joe Slusher; Donald Kallberg and Jim 
Catterson.
     Memorials are suggested to the Columbia Basin Nursing Home Van Fund, or 
the Dufur Ambulance Fund.
