The Dalles Weekly Reminder, February 12, 1982
     Moses Paul Showaway, 44, a life long resident of Celilo died Feb. 3 at 
Toppenish, Wash.

     He was born Feb. 9, 1937 at Celilo.

     Mr. Showaway was a fisherman.

     Survivors include a daughter, Theresa Showaway, Portland; a sister, Susan 
Barnett, Los Angeles, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews including Mary 
Jack of Celilo.

     Dressing services were at Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home Feb. 5 and 
funeral services followed at the Celilo Long House with burial at the Celilo 
Cemetery Feb. 6.
