Wakley iwakley@msn.com December 30, 2006, 2:49 pm The Dalles Chronicle, August 18, 2006 Ernest “Ernie” Edgar Seeley-Clark, 56, The Dalles, died at his home on Thursday, Aug. 10, 2006. He was born in White Salmon on May 8, 1950, to Fred and Ina Seeley. Later in life, he was adopted by Ervin E. and Ellen Genevieve (Beer) Clark. He grew up and graduated high school in White Salmon. He never missed a day of school. He married Jean Huff on March 1, 1982, in The Dalles. A longtime resident of The Dalles, he worked for the aluminum plant for eight years before becoming a machinist for Burlington Northern Railroad. He was a member of the Railroad Union, and enjoyed fishing, camping, reading, travel, and loved his children. He is survived by his wife, Jean, The Dalles; son Brandon Scott Clark, The Dalles; daughter Amanda Lynn Clark, Brush Prairie; brothers Ronnie Seeley, Seattle; Vincent Seeley, Portland; David Clark, White Salmon; and Ben Clark of White Salmon; sisters Laura Nowlin, Dutton, Mont.; and Bonnie Rapelje, Murdock; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A celebration of life will be held at Sorosis Park on Sunday, Sept. 10, at 2 p.m. A private cremation was held, at The Dalles Win-Quatt Crematory with Spencer, Libby, and Powell Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
