She was born Aug. 14, 1924 in Twin Falls, Idaho and grew up in Twin Falls and the surrounding area. She was the youngest of eight children, sister to Valate, Aldo Harmon, LaVon Harmon, LaRee Fleck, LaRay Harmon, Ila Hazen, all of whom have preceded her in death. She started a career in job shop printing at the age of 18 years in Twin Falls, and then moved to The Dalles and went to work for Bohn’s Printing in 1953. She continued printing for various print shops in The Dalles until she retired at 63. She enjoyed printing, and took great pride in her work. For hobbies she enjoyed being around her daughter’s horses, fishing, camping, reading and beach combing. She is survived by her daughter, Margretta Scott, granddaughter Cheyenne Scott and one sister, Cleo “Skippy” Saunders. There will be a casual memorial service at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003 at the Dufur Christian Church, 315 Harrison St., Dufur. Arrangements are by Columbia Cremation & Burial.
