The Dalles Weekly Reminder,  March 20, 1987
     Theresa Fern Schilling, 74, died in Grass Valley March 13.  She was a 
lifelong resident of Grass Valley.
     Mrs. Schilling was born Sept. 17, 1912, in Grass Valley.  She was 
preceded in death by her husband, Roy, in 1980.
     She is survived by her son, Gary Schilling of Grass Valley; her 
grandchildren, Brian and Lori Schilling of Independence, Michael, Steven, 
Joanna and Timothy Schilling, all of Grass Valley; two great-grandchildren, 
Jared and Brianna Schilling of Independence.
     Funeral services were held at the Grass Valley First Baptist Church with 
the Rev. Arthur Brown officiating, followed by burial at the Grass Valley Odd 
Fellows Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or 
the Grass Valley First Baptist Church Memorial Fund.  Spencer, Libby and 
Powell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
