He was a resident of The Dalles since 1955. Mr. Ruvolo was born Jan. 1, 1922, in Omaha, Neb. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked as a hydro operator for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and retired in 1977 after 35 years. Later he worked for the Chelan County PUD as a hydro operator. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus Council, the American Legion, and the Elks Lodge. He is survived by his wife Sharon Ruvolo of The Dalles who he married Dec. 9, 1943; a son Daniel Ruvolo of The Dalles; a daughter, Jeanne Hanson of Wenatchee; three grandchildren; four brothers; three sisters. Recitation of the Rosary was followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter Church officiated by Rev. Ronald Maag. Burial was at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Oregon Heart Association. Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
