The Dalles Weekly Reminder, July 3, 1987
Lillie B. Roy, 77, died at the local hospital in The Dalles.  She lived here 
for 34 years.

Mrs. Roy was born April 6, 1910, in Thayer, Missouri.  She was a member of the 
Moose Lodge of The Dalles and a member of the American Legion Post 19 in The 
Dalles.  Her husband, Barney, preceded her in death in 1978.  A son, Lowell, 
also preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son, Donald Roy of Ridgefield, Wash.; two daughters, 
Josephine Wallace of The Dalles and Myrna Dicus of Searchlight, Nev.; 11 
grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; eight nephews.

Burial was at the Odd Fellows Cemetery following a funeral service officiated 
by Rev. Thornton Gapen.  Pallbearers were Joseph and Donald E. Roy, Russell 
and Bradley Lawrence, Juan Mosqueda, Randy Bresee and Michael Crause.  
Honorary pallbearers were Robert Roy, David Borgus, Bruce Wallace and Todd 
Lawrence.  Smith Callaway Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
