The Dalles Weekly Reminder, September 27, 1984
     David Walter Rowland, 34, died at his home in Portland Sept. 23.  He was 
a former resident of The Dalles.
     He was born April 6, 1950 in Blackfoot, Idaho.
     He was a member of the Lutheran Church.
     Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Dutro, The Dalles; three 
brothers, Fred Rowland, Caldwell, Idaho; Ronald Rowland, Portland; and Alan 
Rowland, The Dalles; a sister, Mrs. Kenneth (Nancy) Mills, The Dalles and 
several nieces and nephews.
     Funeral services were Wednesday at Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home 
with the Rev. Richard Riess officiating.  Burial followed at Parklawn Cemetery.
