He was born March 10, 1896 in Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. Army in World War 1. Mr. Rowe was commander of the local World War 1 Veterans post and was also a member of AARP, the VFW and the IOOF Lodge. Survivors include a son, Jerry Rowe, Portland, two daughters, Leona DePizza, LaPine, and Marie Drazil, Malin; a stepson, Frank Huston, Auburn, Wash.; a step-daughter Mabel Hughes, Rufus; numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren, and a brother, Ray Rowe, Sisters. His wife, Millicent C., whom he married in August of 1942 in Ratan, N.M., died on Feb. 3 this year. Funeral services were held at Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home Thurs., Feb. 25, with the Rev. George Clark officiating. Private burial will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Memorials may be made to charities.
