The Dalles Weekly Reminder, June 7, 1984
     Frank Rowan, 80, died in his home, May 31.  Mr. Rowan was a long-time 
resident of Wamic.

     He is survived by one son, Donald Frank Rowan of Wamic; and two 
daughters, Patricia Brittain, Wamic; and Beverly Carrier, Pittsburgh, Calif., 
6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.  His wife Isabelle died in January 
1967.

     Graveside services were held Saturday, June 2, at the Lone Pine Cemetery 
in Wamic.  The Rev. Daniel Elam officiated.  Memorials are suggested to Wamic 
Community Church building fund, or to a charity.  Spencer, Libby and Powell 
Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
