The Dalles Weekly Reminder, August 23, 1984
Della Mae (Wood) Rogers, 77, a former resident of The Dalles, died Aug. 7 in 
Spokane, Wash.

Mrs. Rogers was born June 9, 1917 in Sheridan, Iowa.  She came to The Dalles 
to live during the 1950s and again during the 1960s.  She was active in the 
Home Extension and in the NARFE in The Dalles.  She was a member of The Dalles 
Christian Church.  She moved to Spokane, Wash., in 1980.

She is survived by three daughters:  Mrs. Larry (Jean) Schaul, Phoenix, Ariz.; 
Mrs. Robert (Flora) Smick, Spokane, Wash.; and Susan R. Atkins, The Dalles; 
two sons:  Dale B. Wood, Vacaville, Calif.; and Gerald W. Wood, Portland.  Two 
stepchildren, Marguerite Golling, Portland; Earl L. Rogers, Underwood, Wash.; 
23 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, a brothr, Luther O. Ratliff, Salem; 
three nieces and two nephews.

Burial was in Spokane Memorial Gardens.  Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home was in 
charge of services.
