Wakley iwakley@msn.com and July 11, 2006, 1:39 pm The Dalles Weekly Reminder, January 29, 1988 Earl LaVerne Rogers, 60, died at his home in Underwood Jan. 19. He had lived there for 13 years. Mr. Rogers was born Jan. 21, 1927, in Spokane. He served in the Korean conflict and worked as a cement mason. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Estacada, the Sevenson Eagles Lodge, the American Legion and the Cement Masons Union. He is survived by four daughters: Cheryl Cousineau of Corbett, Kathy Cumiford of Boring, Debbie Finney of Gresham and Lori Rone of Vancouver; five grandchildren; a sister, three nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home followed by burial at Parklawn Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Oregon Heart Fund.
