Robinson, 66, a resident of The Dalles since December, and formerly a resident of Hillsboro, died at the hospital Feb. 19. He was born March 19, 1915 in Whitemouth, Manitoba, Canada. Mr. Robinson worked for 16 years as a cabinet maker for Rodgers Organ Co. in Hillsboro, before retiring in April of 1981. He was a 35-year member of the National Rifle Association, and was a World War II veteran, and an avid photographer and outdoorsman. Survivors include his wife, LaNeva Robinson, The Dalles; two daughters, Shirley Stanley, Gaston, and LaNeta Wyatt, Beaverton; two brothers, Clifford Robinson, Kennewick, Wash., and Chester Robinson, Yakima, Wash.; two sisters, Hazel McNett, Yakima, and Ruby Dabill, Chiloquim, Wash.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Feb. 22 at Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home with the Rev. Thornton S. Gapen officiating. Private burial followed in the veteran's section of Parklawn Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Oregon Heart Fund.
