The Dalles Weekly Reminder, June 7, 1984
     Emma Grace Richmond, 79, a former resident of The Dalles died June 4 in 
Gresham.

     Mrs. Richmond was born May 13, 1905 in Fredericktown, Mo.  She grew up 
there and moved to The Dalles in 1938.  Her husband, John, was a building 
contractor here.  He died in 1969 and one son Raphiel, also has died.

     Survivors include:  two sons, Delayne Richmond, Portland; Alden Richmond, 
Bakersfield, Calif.; a daughter, Billie Jean Casey, Portland; 12 
grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

     Mrs. Richmond was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  She had moved to 
Portland in 1975.

     Services were conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Egerton Long at 
Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home.  Burial was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.

      Pallbearers were Kenny, Larry, Ray and Charles Davis; LeRoy Anderson and 
Eldon Barzee.
