     Mary Ellen Richardson, 70, a resident of Dallesport, died at her home 
Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2006.

     She was born in Escondido, Calif., on Feb. 2, 1936 to Forest Fredrick and 
Rosy Edna (Kline) Collings. She attended Lincoln High School. 

     She married Tom Richardson in Seattle on March 29, 1986. She was a member 
of First Christian Church a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, church and family.

     She is survived by her husband, Tom Richardson; her two daughters, Patty 
Bender and Charlene Clough and her husband Raymond; four grandchildren, 
Heather Kofelke, Breanne Kofelke, Hannah Clough and Raymond A. Clough III; and 
a great-grand child, Noah Kofelke.

     Private cremation was held at The Dalles Win-Quatt Crematory with 
Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home in care of arrangements.

     Memorial service will be held on Sunday, Aug. 27, at 2 p.m. at First 
Christian Church, 909 Court Street, The Dalles, with Mike Wilson officiating.

     Memorial contributions can be made to Quechua Ministries, c/o First 
Christian Church, 909 Court St. The Dalles, OR 97058.
