     Mary Patricia “Mary Pat” Reynolds, 83, a Prineville resident and former 
The Dalles resident, died Sunday, April 2, 2006. 
     She was born in Prineville on July 10, 1922, to Sylvan Oscar and Estelle 
(Conway) Michel. 
     She was raised and educated in Prineville. And was active in the 4-H 
program as a youth. 
     She graduated from Prineville High School in 1940 and attended one year 
of college at St. Charles (COCC), receiving a degree in nursing. During World 
War II she worked in aircraft manufacturing in Seattle. 
     She married Dale Reynolds on Sept. 3, 1957 in Reno, Nev. In 1957 they 
settled in Redmond until 1965, then she move to The Dalles for 27 years before 
moving back to Prineville, then to Post for three to four years, and then back 
to Prineville. She was a member of the Prineville First Baptist Church.
     She was a nurse for 32 years, retiring in 1987. She and her husband 
raised 37 foster children over the years. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and 
socializing.
     She is survived by her second husband, Dale Reynolds; a son, Chuck 
Mansfield, Redmond; and a daughter, Kathy Kyes, Salem; a brother Dennis 
Michel, Roseburg; and a half brother, Chuck Michel, Troutdale; five 
grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren; a niece, Carol Moore; and a step-
mother, Elaine Thompson, Prineville; also caregivers; Wanda, Becky, Tammy, 
Susann, Sharrell, Mary and Clara.
     Graveside services will be Thursday, April 13, at 10 a.m. at Juniper 
Haven Cemetery in Prineville. Dr. Barry Gridley will be officiating. Following 
the graveside service an informal fellowship will be held at the Prineville 
First Baptist Church.
