The Dalles Weekly Reminder, November 29, 1984
     Reita Jo Reed, 59, died Nov. 24, at Mid Columbia Medical Center after a 
sudden illness.  She was a resident of The Dalles for the past nine years.

     She was a past resident of Portland and California.

     Mrs. Reed was born in Milwaukie, Wis. Dec. 7, 1925.  She was a member of 
the Covenant Christian Church in The Dalles.  She is survived by her husband 
Kenneth Reed, The Dalles; daughter Jeanne Dean, Vancouver, Wash.; a son, Scott 
Reed, The Dalles; three grandchildren, Sherri Lynn, Christina Marie and 
Heather Lynn Dean, all of Vancouver; a grandson, Adam Damion Alley; and a 
sister, Betty Eagan, New Jersey.

     Funeral services will be today (Thursday) Nov. 29 at 11 a.m. at Covenant 
Christian Church.  Pastor Norman Clear will officiate.  Burial will follow at 
Odd Fellows Cemetery.

     Memorials are suggested to the Salvation Army.  Spencer, Libby & Powell 
Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
