The Dalles Chronicle, November 12, 1991
     Laurence Reed was a resident of The Dalles since 1969.  Born March 10, 
1921 at Idamar, PA. and died at The Dalles on Saturday at age 70.  A member of 
the Hood River Eagles Lodge, The Dalles Moose Lodge, The Dalles American 
Legion and V.F.W.
     Survivors include his wife, June of The Dalles; son, Bob Reed of 
Kennewick; daughters, Juanita Kurtz of Umatilla; Juanita (Sam) Woods of Havre, 
MT.; 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, sister Peggy Johnson of Canton, 
OH.; brother, Robert Reed of Portland; numerous nieces and nephews.
     Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 1 p.m. at Spencer, Libby & 
Powell Funeral Home with Pastor Asa Jenson and the Hood River Eagles Lodge 
officiating.  Interment will be at Parklawn Cemetery.
