The Dalles Weekly Reminder, June 30, 1983
     Kevin R. Raskie, 17, a longtime resident of The Dalles, died Monday night 
in a motorcycle accident.
     He was born Oct. 29, 1965 in San Luis Obispo, Calif., and was a student 
at The Dalles High School.
     He had been a member of the 4-H Club Electrifiers for seven years and was 
a member of the Mid-Columbia Gun Dog Club.
     Survivors include his mother, Patricia, The Dalles; his father, Gary 
Raskie, Rocklin, Calif.; his stepmother, Sandy Raskie, Rocklin; grandparents, 
Ted F. and Laura Aronson, Hood River, and Joseph and Mary Raskie, Rocklin; 
aunts, Ann Marie Jelderks, Portland; Penelope Stensen, Boring and Nola 
Morgans, San Diego, Calif.
     Graveside services were today (Thursday) at Pine Grove Butte Cemetery in 
Pine Grove with the Right Rev. Rustin Kimsey officiating.
     Smith Callaway Chapel was in care of arrangments.
     Honorary casketbearers were David Bailey, Mark Horzynek, Lucky Cochenour, 
David Gordon, Tim Smith, Chad Carbis, Mike Kane and Cliff Emberg.
     Memorials are suggested to The Dalles High School.
