The Dalles Weekly Reminder, November 24, 1983
     Harold Leroy Rash, 70, a resident of The Dalles since March of 1981, and 
formerly a longtime resident of Boardman, died Sunday at a Portland hospital.
     He was born April 13, 1913 in Husum, Wash.
     Mr. Rash was a member of the Life of Christ Center in The Dalles, and The 
Dalles Steelheaders Club.
     Survivors include his wife, Frances, The Dalles; a son, Darrel, Bend; 
three daughters, Elnora Panages, Boardman; Dorothy Getz, The Dalles and Diane 
Buchanan, Soldotna, Alaska; nine grandchildren; and a sister, Arlene Thompson, 
Boardman.
     Funeral services were today (Wednesday) at Spencer Libby & Powell Funeral 
Home with the Rev. Ron Keyser officiating.  Graveside services followed at 
Riverview Cemetery in Boardman.
     Honorary casketbearers were Bob Lowe, Neil King, Hank Gantenbein, Arnold 
Hoffman, Roy Carmack and Bob McBride.
     Memorials are suggested to the Oregon Heart Fund.
