     Judith “Judy” Lou Quint, 61, a resident of Government Camp, died at her 
home on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2005.
     She was born at her parent’s home in Government Camp on July 18, 1944, 
the seventh of eight children, to Kenneth and Louetta (Morast) Tibbets. 
     She grew up in The Dalles, graduating from The Dalles High School in 
1963. 
     She met Don Quint in The Dalles and they were married on Dec. 1, 1962, in 
The Dalles. 
     They lived in The Dalles, raising their children, until 1976, when they 
moved to Government Camp to run “The Village Store.”
     She was a past president of the Eagles Auxiliary. 
     She enjoyed many outdoor activities, traveling, especially to Mexico, 
spending time with her grandchildren and any form of art.
     She is survived by her husband, Don Quint, Government Camp; her 
daughters, Kelly Thorgrimsen and her children, Jonathan and Jamie, Government 
Camp, and Tracy Quint and her son, Dakota, Portland; her sisters, Mary Perky 
of Sutherland, Norma Sonnabend, Hood River, and Joanne Buxton, Prineville; her 
brothers, Kenneth Tibbets, Rufus, Ernie Tibbets, The Dalles, and Larry 
Tibbets, West Linn; and numerous nieces and nephews. 
     She was preceded in death by her sister, Maxine, and her parents.
     At her request, there will be no public services. 
     Private cremation was held at The Dalles Win-quatt Crematory with 
Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
     Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 1311 NW 21st Ave., 
Portland, OR 97209.
